Youthful ignorance is bliss. It is a time of yearning and saying yes to everything. For youth is not yet marred by grim experience and consequently negativity. Other’s opinions may be considered, but generally do not yield a change of heart during this period of life. It is all about being gung ho amidst yoyoing emotions. Much later when the years have passed and the poisonous yew has been firmly planted within aged souls, the yammer of young voices and the freedom borne of youthful exuberance will be but faraway memories. Young love, yard parties, and satisfied yawns; the yolk of a long ago life when everything was possible and “Yippee!” was the mantra to live by.
